BATTLE CELL

Maneuvers
and Tactics
3 Games in one See Screen Shots of each Game in links at left.
Battle Cell is first and foremost a game of strategy
and tactics. It is filled, with clever twists. The large board (13x15, 195
cells, creates a myriad of choices and decisions, making it perhaps the richest
war game I’ve ever experienced. NOTE: The boards are on Excel Spreadsheets,
which allows for some variation of the games. Or can be printed out for
face-to-face competition.
The games are played with two players. There are three
basic games, one each for Land, Sea and Air. Many combinations of the three
games can be made. Also players can design their own scenarios for each game.
Sometimes simple is so much better.
The Battle Cell Conflict, is the Land game, it has a
Headquarters unit, 2 Artillery units, 4 Cavalry units, 6 Infantry units. It also
contains 3 Fortified positions, 7 mountain cells, 10 hills cells, 14 forest
cells, 13 water cells, and 148 field cells. The goal is to destroy the opponents
Headquarters. Turn based it is far more exciting than chess or similar games.
The Battle Cell Engagement, is the Sea game, it has a
Flagship, 2 Supply ships, 6 Frigates and 4 Battleships. It also contains 16 land
cells, 16 Shallows cells, and 163 Ocean cells. Of these Ocean cells some are
included within each sides own harbors. The goals here are to one sink the
Flagship, and two force the other side to surrender or be destroyed. It also is
turn based.
The Battle Cell Dogfight, is the Air game, it contains 1
Awacs, 1 Anti-Aircraft unit, 1 Aerial Tanker, 3 Bombers and 8 Fighters. While it
also contains 195 squares, each side has 12 reserved in their color for planes
to land upon, when they can’t be Aerial Fueled, Also in the middle of the 12
is located a 13th that is the AA unit. That leaves 169 squares for
maneuvers in the dogfights. This game is turn based as well.
Each Game comes with full set of rules and instructions.
They can be played by mail, Email, over telephone, or printed out and used as a
traditional board game. Delivery is by electronic attachment in your email.
Battle Cells can be played during a lunch, or be long term with the wide choices
of moves possible. An online die roller decides outcome of battles.
